After all the hard work and long hours Kerri is proud to announce a pre-release of her self titled album party in Houston, TX. It is going to be a magical night in Houston come Dec 17th. Kerri will be performing songs off her album along with celebrating Christmas with Toys for Tots by asking her guest to bring a unwrapped toy.
Kerri will have her Official CD Release in Los Angeles at the beginning of 2012 but wanted to share the album with her family & friends first since they have been so supportive of her music.
Kerri has had a very busy 2 weeks w/ the JDRF – Walk To Cure in Houston, TX – Oct 29, 2011 & Los Angeles, CA – November 6, 2011. Kerri and her team, Kerri’s Krusaders successfully raised their goal of $5,000 and then some. They raised a TOTAL of $5,396!
Raising the money was important but the lasting moments for Kerri was singing the National Anthem at both events. When Kerri was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes “Type 1″ on May 24, 2007 she had no idea the amount of positive impact she would have on other kids with diabetes.
Kerri will continue to be a voice for JDRF and do her best to raise money for a cure along with awareness to let other kids know that you can have diabetes and follow your dreams!

Kerri recently closed the door in here room turned on the camera and covered Adele’s “Someone Like You” for her fans. Adele is a big inspiration to Kerri. Kerri hopes that if she continues on the path she has chosen that she to will write inspiring songs like Adele.
This time of year means a lot to Kerri Medders. Not because the holidays are around the corner. Important because Kerri takes an active part in the JDRF Walk To Cure Diabetes each year. Every year Kerri leads her group “Kerri’s Krusaders” on the walk in Houston and at the Los Angeles walk. This year she will have the honor of singing the National Anthem at 8:30am Saturday, Oct 29th for the Houston Walk to Cure Diabetes. At 11am she will perform her just newly released single TIME TO SHINE.
Your probably wondering why Kerri chose JDRF. Kerri herself has Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. She feels it is important to support the cause and show other kids with Diabetes that you can still reach for your dreams. Kerri knows that the best way to show that Diabetes won’t stop her is by taking her Krusader’s and walking the distance at both walks in Houston & Los Angeles.
